RULES FOR USING SCHOOL/FACILITIES
• Students must complete registration form in the first class (with all data);
• Students should ALWAYS give the name to the coach (in the locker room), before the start of class, as soon as the material is provided to them;
• Students must bring bath / bathing trunks, those wearing underwear should dress with the help of a towel / poncho or at the spa;
• Students should bring a bag / backpack to store clothing, shoes, etc. They should not be scattered;
• Valuables such as watches, wallets and glasses should be stored in the bag / backpack or office (ask the monitor).
• Do not throw garbage on the floor and, please, NEVER ON THE BEACH!

RULES TO RENT MATERIAL
• The leased material must be delivered within the established time limit, if this does not happen, the user is obliged to pay the amount corresponding to a rental day.
• It is not allowed to transfer the material to third parties without prior authorization, and the user is responsible for the correct use of the equipment.
• Surfing Life Club is not liable for accidents occurring during the activities resulting from the rental of equipment and in no case can the user be compensated for any accident that may happen to him.
• In the event of an accident, loss or theft, the user is responsible for the full payment of the equipment.
• The material must be delivered clean and in good condition at the end of each use, otherwise the user must pay the penalty of € 5 per piece.

RULES OF PROCEDURE – HOLIDAYS CAMPS

** General Objectives
1. Creation in all its structural components, of a physical space for the realization of leisure activities and in direct contact with nature, namely:
a) Surf Camp for Children and Youth from 06 to 17 years;
b) Other events such as: Birthday Party, Company Parties, etc.;
2. Address our Activities to: Companies, Schools, Town Councils, Town Councils, Centers. Groups organized with a minimum of 20 participants and Individuals/Individuals.

** Specific Objectives
1. Group experiences through the interaction between the team of participants and the pedagogical team;
2. Values such as respect for neighbor and nature in all its educational aspects;
3. Provide new experiences to all our participants, programming pedagogical and leisure activities, oriented in this direction;
4. Achieve with our activities a positive and complementary degree of family and sports education;

** Rights of the Organizing Entity/Promoter
1. The Surfing Life Club is the main interlocutor with the Education Officers, being able to accept or refuse registrations.
2. The Surfing Life Club may organize Vacation Fields, hiring Coordinators and Monitors necessary for the proper development of them.
3. The Surfing Life Club is the sole responsibility of the Surfing Life Club, when Surf Camps are organized by themselves.
4. The Surfing Life Club reserves the right to change or cancel the Surf Camp, organized by itself, when the necessary conditions for its accomplishment are not met.
5. In the Surf Camps, it is up to the Surfing Life Club to decide to exclude any Participant, Coordinator or Monitor when their behavior affects the normal operation of Surf Camp.

** Duties of the Organizing Entity/Promoter
1. Comply with existing legislation, with special attention to what is stipulated in Article 17 of Decree Law 32/2011.
2. To contract personal accident insurance under the legal terms (Decree Law 32/2011 - Artº 1 e32/2011).
3. Have a Complaints Book.
4. As organizer must ensure the proper functioning of the Surf Camp, complying with what is legislated in the scope of feeding and monitoring of participants in the activities developed.
5. When hiring Coordinators and Monitors / Animators, Surfing Life Club shall provide them with all conditions and information for the proper performance of their duties.
7. The caretakers of Education should be assured the possibility to visit the Surf Camp facilities.

** Field Director
• The position of Field Director is assigned to Mr. João Diogo Pinto dos Santos.
• The Field Director reports directly to the Board of Directors.
The responsibilities of the Field Director are as follows:
a) To promote the execution and the good functioning of the Surf Camp, according to the directives of the Administration;
b) Meet with the Coordinator for the evaluation of the program proposed by the surf camp teaching team;
c) To resolve with the Coordinator, any disciplinary proceedings to be taken regarding situations that may arise during the programs carried out by the Company;
d) Complying with and enforcing the internal regulations.
e) To grant access to the facilities to the IPJ-Instituto Português da Juventude and the respective documentation regarding the participants.

** Coordinator
• The Coordinator reports directly to the Field Director.
The competencies of the Coordinator are:
a) To promote the execution and the good functioning of Surf Camp, according to the directives of the Administration;
b) Meet with the Field Manager for the evaluation of the program proposed by the surf camp teaching team;
c) Resolve with the Field Director, any disciplinary procedures to be followed regarding situations that may arise during the programs carried out by the Company;
d) Complying with and enforcing the internal regulations.
The Coordinators have the following rights:
a) The exercise of the function of Coordinator in harmony with the internal regulations of the Company;
b) To develop the educational activity according to the pedagogical orientations of the educative process and of teaching-learning;
c) Be informed of the criticisms or complaints made in the course of his activity as Coordinator;
d) Present criticisms and suggestions to the Field Director;
e) To be supported, in the exercise of its functions, by the Field Director;
f) To participate in the creation of programs of activities for Surf Camp, according to the ludic and pedagogical objectives of the Company.
The duties of the Coordinators are:
a) To accept the Idea of the Company, to fulfill its project and the Internal Regulation;
b) To follow the guidelines of the Field Director;
c) Prepare in due course, the planning of the program of activities in accordance with the general objectives, contents and pedagogical guidelines of the company;
d) To guide the pedagogical team in the planning and execution of the program of activities;
e) To be affable in the treatment, correct in the relations, respect the good name and the private life of the participants as well as of the members of the pedagogical team;
f) To be punctual respecting the schedules of the program of activities;
g) To promote the correct integration of the pedagogical team in Surf Camp;
j) Control the behavior of the Coaches;
k) To assess, consult and decide, together with the Director of programs, on disciplinary events, integration, etc., of the participants as well as of the coaches;
l) Present to the Field Director an evaluation report regarding the shifts in which it is inserted;
m) Maintaining order and discipline;
n) Comply and enforce the programs of activities;
o) To abstain of all the manifestation of political or religious character in the Surf Camp;
p) Avoid the use of mobile phones during the activities and meals;
q) Do not smoke in the spaces of use of the participants, nor during the meals and activities;
r) To promote respect for the interior and exterior space of the Surf Camp;
s) Do not use or allow the use of obscene gestures, attitude and language.

** Pedagogical Team
• The pedagogical team consists of:
- 1 Coordinator.
- 1 Coach for every 6 participants for ages under 10 years.
- 1 Coach for every 10 participants from 10 to 18 years old.
• Coaches are primarily responsible for the participants and co-responsible for educational and programmatic action along with all other sectors that make up the Company's structure.
Coaches' rights are:
a) The exercise of the role of coach in harmony with the internal regulations of the Company;
b) To develop the educational and sport activity according to the pedagogical orientations of the educational process and of teaching-learning;
c) Be informed of the criticisms or complaints made in the course of his / her activity as a coach;
d) Present the Coordinator and the Field Director with criticisms and suggestions;
e) To be supported, in the exercise of its functions, by the Field Director and Coordinator;
f) To participate in the creation of programs of activities for Surf Camp, according to the ludic and pedagogical objectives of the Company;
It is the duty of the coaches:
a) To accept the Idea of the Company, to fulfill its project Entertaining / Pedagogical and the Internal Regulation;
b) To adopt the guidelines of the Field Director and the Coordinator;
c) Prepare in due course, the planning of the program of activities in accordance with the general objectives, contents and pedagogical guidelines of the company;
d) Orient the participants during their stay at Surf Camp;
e) To be friendly in the treatment, correct in the relations, respect the good name and the private life of the participants as well as of the members of the pedagogical team;
f) To be assiduous and punctual respecting the schedules of the program of activities;
g) To promote the correct integration of the participants in Surf Camp;
h) To promote, if necessary, individual follow-up of the participants;
i) Educate for citizenship;
j) Control the behavior of the participants;
k) To value, consult and decide, together with the Program Director and Coordinator, on the disciplinary occurrences, integration, etc., of the participants;
l) Present to the Coordinator an evaluation report regarding the shifts in which it is inserted;
m) Maintaining order and discipline;
n) Comply with the programs of activities;
o) To abstain of all the manifestation of political or religious character in the Surf Camp;
p) Avoid the use of mobile phones during the activities and meals;
q) Do not smoke in the spaces of use of the participants, nor during the meals and activities;
r) Respect the 8 hours of sleep per day;
s) Do not leave the Field without authorization from the Program Director or Coordinator;
t) Promote respect for the interior and exterior space of the Surf Camp;
u) Do not use or allow the use of obscene gestures, attitude and language.

** Participants
Participants are entitled to:
a) Enjoy the facilities of Surf Camp in perfect state of hygiene and safety;
b) Participate in the activities according to the guidelines of the pedagogical team;
c) Present to the pedagogical team, criticisms and suggestions;
d) To be supported, in the activities by the pedagogical team.
It is the duty of the Participants:
a) Accept the Internal Regulation;
b) Comply with the guidelines given by the pedagogical team;
c) Be correct in relationships;
d) Be assiduous and punctual respecting the schedules of the program of activities;
e) Comply with the programs of activities, except for personal reasons, or by appointment of the Education Officers;
f) To abstain from any manifestation of a political or religious character in the Surf Camp;
g) Avoid the use of mobile phones in the course of activities and meals;
h) Respect the interior and exterior space of the Surf Camp;
i) Do not use gestures, attitude and obscene language.
Behavior:
- Reserves the right, after prior information and contact with the guardian, to return to the house any participant that by its behavior significantly impairs the operation of the Surf Camp.
- The participants' parents must formalize the enrollment of their student by filling in the forms provided by Surfing Life Club, provide the necessary documentation for the process, as well all the information that may prove necessary for their register in the school.
- The company will provide a listing of the material necessary for your student's stay at Surf Camp.
- It is not allowed to take to Surf Camp:
a) Alcoholic beverages and narcotic;
b) Medications, except in cases where the participant is medicated. In these cases the caretaker should deliver them to the animator or coordinator of the holiday camp;
c) Sharps or other objects that, because of their hazardous nature, endanger the physical integrity of the participants.
- We do not advise to take to Surf Camp:
a) Objects of value;
b) Costly and branded clothing.
Note – The surf camp is not responsible for the disappearance or deterioration of clothes and other objects brought by the participants.

** Education Guardians:
The following documents will be available to parents:
a) Plan of activities, internal regulations, identification of the organizing entity, respective contacts and value of the registration;
b) Information on the existence of a complaints book;
c) Insurance for which the participants are covered.

** Operation:
a) Program of Activities: Daily articulation of the activities along the turn of the field of vacations with the following typology: sports, exploration, expression, playful, construction and movement;
b) The program may provide exits and visits outside Surf Camp facilities, as well as may be modified due to climatic or other conditions that the teaching team seems relevant taking seriously the safety and suitability of the participants' interests and motivations;
c) Distribution of the participants. The distribution of the participants by the educational teams / groups is the responsibility of the pedagogical team, and it is not possible to guarantee that participants friends or acquaintances are in the same group. On the other hand, it is not advisable to go to the age group that does not fit into your age;
d) Medical Assistance is defined as preventive actions, activities carried out with first aid equipment, any simple treatment performed by a life-saving trainer, as well as transportation to any Health or Hospital Center;
e) Each participant is covered by personal accident insurance and civil liability.

In the cases omitted from this regulation, the legislation in force, decree-law no. 32/2011 of March 7, will apply, as well as the respective orders that may be published.
